MultiAlien is live on the app store! It’s a simple game, but it’s my first attempt at Apple software. I’m pretty proud of it. It’s a minimal viable product (thanks Steve Blank!) aimed at making it fun to do simple multiplication or addition flash card behavior. Other than that it’s just a simple space arcade [...] Apple has moved my iPhone application into “In Review” state. That means that they are now testing it for inclusion into the app store. With any luck I did everything right and they will pass it soon and it will be available to the public in the app store. I’m obviously pretty excited. I lost [...] Sorry for the lack of posting. I’ve been crazy at work on an iPhone application. It’s called MultiAlien and it’s a space arcade game meets flash cards. I’ll post more about it later. Here’s to Apple doing a fast review! I made this transaction to avoid possible impact to my credit rating and in no way do I acknowledging that these funds are legitimately owed to PayPal. On February 9, 2011 an eBay user purchased a Dell XPS 1530 notebook [...] Not much posted lately – lots of travel, lots going on at work (more on that another day)… but I’m really stunned that 19 out of 20 comments on this blog are pure spam. All the guidance on blogs is that you need to support comments, that you have to be interactive… but literally, 19 [...] I’ve been hacking with XCode4 this past week, trying to actually build something for iOS. It’s fun to be coding something again, but gosh it’s not all that fun to struggle with new tools. XCode is a decent IDE, but I’m an old school Makefile guy who prefers emacs. I’m certainly modern enough to grok [...] I’ve been checking in with FourSquare again, just to see. I finally get some kind of an offer for tangible value for a check in: a local bookstore has an offer. Green Apple Books is a wonderful place out in the Avenues (on Clement) that has a huge selection of used and new books. [...] I’ve been using Google Apps Mail to host my mail for herlein.com for years. In fact, I was a very early adopter. I’d say I was in the beta, but hey, so was everyone!
